The app will try to log your position about every half hour and depending on the GPS reception, it will map your daily commute and show it on a map. You do have the possibility to connect the app to SkyDrive, and backup the recorded track to manually or automatically to a KML file in your private SkyDrive storage. Life360 family locator is my favorite as it helps me locating my friends and families location which also increases the security for them. It is quite possibility that app may tell the nearest location not the exact depending upon your data connection and GPS.
