When you open the app, you can see an index of scientific terms and names. On top of the list there is a search option that you can use to search a word in the app. Finding a word or a term in the index is very easy as they are arranged in alphabetical manner. When you have found the word and click it, you can see the meaning or definition of the word specified.
On the bottom of the screen you will see four options:
- Index: It will take you back to index where you can start the search again and find the meaning of the word again. In other words, it will take you to the home page of the education app Science Glossary.
- Random: Clicking it will show a number of random scientific terms. Each time you click the random button you will see different scientific terms.
- Modules: Each word belong to certain modules. One word can belong to one or more modules and when you click on the certain module, you will be redirected to vision learning website. You can study the whole module on the website.
- Image: If a scientific term has an image saved with it, clicking the image button will show the image. Image option is extremely rare.
There are hyperlinks attached to the terms that need further study. If the word you are looking for is biographical, the hyperlink will take you to a certain website to give you detail information about the scientific personality. Click on the hyperlink of John Couch Adams redirected to history encyclopedia, and Madam Curie hyperlink redirected to Nobel Prize website.
