4 Best Free Panorama maker Android Apps

Panorama apps have been a great introduction in the genre of photography. This latest addition has generated great response & excitement. While, comparatively, professional photographers have been a little reluctant in using this feature, this method of clicking pictures has been a great success among those clicking for fun. You can see panoramas being taken at parties, marriages, at home and other casual places. They make for good memories and kind of save some space as well as you one panorama can be equal to few clicks stitched together. These below mentioned 4 panorama maker Android apps contain some nice features like different filters, gallery of panorama pictures by others that you can go through while creating your very own panoramas. Let us take a look.

Wondershare Panorama:

Wondershare Panorama

The first panorama maker app being reviewed here is Wondershare Panorama. Basically, there are 3 main functions you can perform with this free app: capture, gallery, and share. The app is very small in size hardly consuming any space on your device, and you are not required to create any profile or anything.

The first step to begin with is start taking panorama. Before you take your panorama, a notification appears on the screen guiding you to move in the direction of the arrow. There is also one slider that moves in the right hand direction, when you are taking panoramas. You can choose to turn on/off flash, focus, and also choose to apply different filters; there are quite a few filters available. The panoramas you make are saved in the gallery and you can share them with your friends from there. These panoramas can be shared on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and a caption can also be added while sharing.

Despite its smooth functioning and good results, I still feel this is a very basic app which can be stuffed with a few more editing features and a common gallery for all the users. Such features give a particular app an edge over its counterparts and make it more interesting.

Panorama 360:

Panorama 360 -The Big Picture

Panorama 360 is the second panorama maker app reviewed here. To use this app, you are first required to sign up for a free account. Once that is done, you can start exploring the work of others and also follow the ones you like. There is a common gallery for all users and you can follow stuff from this gallery. You also have a personal gallery where you can save panoramas clicked by you and also share them with others. While you are clicking panoramas, you have to hold your phone in a particular position and move it in a particular direction. There are settings like quality, exposure, and flash that you can adjust before clicking pictures and filters like rain, snow, etc. that can be used after clicking pictures. You can also choose between three different modes: standard, manual, and Real-time. The real-time mode lets you capture some good quality 3D panoramas.

Panorama 360 serves to be a good panorama app which also doubles up to be a good social networking app for photographers. Features like clicking 3D images, importing images to edit them, follow other users, explore new panoramas from time to time make this is a real useful app.

AutoStitch Panorama:

AutoStitch Panorama

Next panorama maker reviewed for you is AutoStitch Panorama. The name of this app reveals a lot about the way this app works. You can click multiple pictures and then stitch them together to create a panorama using this app. The only thing that needs to be kept in mind is that the photos should overlap each other by at least 30% if they are to be stitched together. This information is given to you through a notification when you use the app for the first time.

On the main interface of the app, there are two main options: shoot panoramas and Select photos. The first option means you can start clicking pictures through another app or your phone camera, and come back to this app to stitch it together. The task of stitching together is done automatically by the app. The second option lets you select images from phone gallery and stitch them together. The stitched panoramas are visible in your personal gallery and a thumbnail can also be seen in the background of the main interface.
The panoramas you click can also be edited and shared on different social networking platforms. However, expect for the option to crop, no other editing feature is available for free users. You will have to upgrade to use these and more editing features. Thus, the free version of the app has a limited set of features made available for its users. Try it out from the link given below.

Panorama Camera 360:

Panorama Camera 360

The final app in the list is Panorama Camera 360. This is a lightweight app which comes with a decent looking interface. You press the start button on the main interface to start clicking panorama and hit the settings icon to configure the app with different online platforms; this helps in sharing the panoramas with your friends on these websites.

Reading the description of this panorama maker app, it is supposed to function in the following manner; you click multiple images with the app and all these images are combined together to create a beautiful panorama for you. However, there is a limit of 8 images that you can click & combine for one panorama. In addition to this, you can also make use of some editing features available to use. But, there is a reason behind me saying that it is supposed to work in the above prescribed manner; because in reality I just could not get the app to do anything for me. It keeps displaying a message “keep your camera vertical” and I keep waiting for it to start functioning while holding the camera vertically in my hand all this while.

Thus, the only reason why I have chosen to review it here for you is that I hope that I was the only unfortunate one to meet such a fate and that at least you can get this app up and running. Try it out for yourself from the link given below.

Final Verdict:

Choosing one favorite amongst the four options given above seems to be a pretty simple choice, this time around. Panorama 360 with all its exciting features and good looking interface easily manages to catch your attention more than any other app. Although, Wondershare Panorama also works smoothly and efficiently, it does not contain features like clicking 3D panoramas, exploring others work, following users you like, using unique filters, and a couple more. So, if you ask me Panorama 360 is that one panorama maker app that I will bank on to click some good panoramas for me.
